  OUR STORY

I like to spend my free time on the trails. I naturally drifted towards ultrarunning where I get an excuse to spend hours upon hours traversing single-track, fire roads, streams and mountain tops.

In all this time in nature, I couldn't help but think about the problems facing our natural environment and the risks we face losing these places to play and spiritually rejuvenate. I wanted to combine my love for trail running and my desire to use that time for the good of nature. When I learned that we spend time moving through a sea of molecules emitted by both people and nature, I realized there was an opportunity for our community of trail runners, who daily spending hours in natural spaces and city streets alike, to collect environmental data as citizen scientists to improve the health and well-being of our forests and wild spaces.
